| Welcome to Early View and the blessing of motherhood! As a new mother, I know the love, thoughts, and concern for your child begin long before his or her arrival. That is how Early View came to be. At 17 weeks pregnant, my husband, Chuck, and I just couldn’t wait any longer to see our precious baby and took the advice of friends to get a 3D/4D ultrasound. Being from Longview, I had several family members thrilled to share this experience and Chuck’s grandfather even drove from Houston to share in the excitement. We made an evening of it and carpooled to make the long drive to our appointment.
The experience absolutely took our breath away. We could see our baby! And not a skeletal looking outline…a real picture of our baby. It was a boy, with pouty lips like mine, and his father’s nose. This was love at first sight. When we found out the gender, the room exploded with celebration. Thinking about it today, I can still hear my mother’s cheering, picture my sister’s smile and the look my husband and I gave each other with tears in both of our eyes. This was my favorite family moment to date.
Six months after that appointment, our lives changed forever with the birth of our son, Cohen. He is absolutely perfect…with those pouty lips and his hands above his head while he sleeps, just as he looked in our ultrasound.
And now, we have started Early View, because we want residents of Longview and the surrounding areas to have the opportunity to experience the miracle of 3D/4D ultrasound. We hope you and your family choose to take part in the view of a lifetime at Early View.
